A traditional solvent free oil paint for a decorative and protective natural gloss coating on all woodwork giving a water resistant, flexible coating, with high opacity, excellent longevity and easy application.
Highly pigmented in 100% Boiled Linseed Oil, with added driers and Zinc Oxide for mould resistance but NO solvent, using traditional and modern pigments.
What colours are available in Pure Linseed Oil Paint?
Here at Ingilby Paints we offer colours from our Colour Cards as well as Colour Creation. We also have access to archived recipes for hundreds of colours spanning our 30+ years of manufacture. These recipes include colours ranging from pastel shades and creams to deep terracottas, yellows, reds and greens using traditional and historic pigments including red, yellow and black oxides of iron, raw and burnt umber and sienna as well as modern pigments and stainers.

Priming Coat ?
We recommend either our Boiled Linseed Oil (solvent free method) or our Genuine Turpentine (adding solvent introduces flammability, take relevant precautions) or a combination of the two up to 20% by weight for priming coats onto porous woods.
Finish & Coverage?
Pure Linseed Oil Paint gives a natural gloss finish with a conservative spread rate of 8m²-10m² per litre per coat on porous bare substrates with a potential spread rate of up to 15m²-20m².
